There is a monthly "Social Membership Fee" of $50.00, which takes the place of a Home Owners Assoc. Fee. If you would like an Athletic Membership, it is $105.00 for a single person and $120.00 for a family per month.

Do you have to be a Golf Club member if you live in The Community of Old Hawthorne?

No. But, if you have a Golfing Membership your membership is all inclusive. It includes the Social Membership, Golf, Athletic Membership, the Swimming pool and Clubhouse privileges.

Single-level homes on walk-out home site: minimum of 1800 square feet on main floor. Single-level homes on slab home site with three-car garage: minimum of 1900 square feet on main floor. Single-level homes on slab home site with two-car garage: minimum of 2000 square feet on main floor. Homes of one and one-half stories (slab or walk-out home site): minimum of 1750 square feet on main floor and minimum of 2200 square feet on first and second levels combined. After you have selected a house plan for review by the Architectural Review Board there is a $250.00 fee for the submission, review and approval process. Once the house plan has been approved there is a $1000 refundable deposit. After your home passes all inspections and you have received an occupancy permit this money is refunded.

Yes. The Community of Old Hawthorne was annexed into the city in 2005 and does have city utilities including gas and public sewer and trash.
